Welcome to our home...

It has been exciting being able to decorate again and make our place feel like a home. Considering what we have heard about the winters and what we have waiting for us, we tried to make our dwelling feel warm and cozy; it seems appropriate when having a forest as our backyard.

Another blessing has been being able to give Aidan his own room. Since he was born, he pretty much has kept close company to us in the evenings, which
over time began to give us a scare as we thought to ourselves, "Oh no...we are going to need Nanny 911; Aidan won't sleep on his own and he's 18 years old!"

Though we are on the second story we enter from the first and immediately hit our stairway which leads up to the kitchen. Its kind of a perk really; we have a convienent coat closet which helps us keep are shoes downstairs and the carpet clean...I have a feeling that with a sloshy winter coming, it will be nice to keep all the wetness away
from everything else.

Notice, however, no pictures of our bedroom ... hmmm ... that's right, it is still a work in progress. Its kind of funny though; we have never really put any effort into decorating our bedroom, which is supposed to be our safe haven, a place where we truly feel relaxed and restful, instead our's has been a storage shed, a stack of boxes, and a place with very little foot room, however, when your head hits the pillow after along day, you are not thinking about any of that.
